    I believe that the purpose of all technology is to improve society as a whole.  Technology is supposed to make it easier for human beings to live, work and perform job tasks, faster and more effectively in different ways. Even though technology is supposed to be helpful, social media is creating a barrier to work efficiency, in that the use of technology during work may distract employees from job tasks. This study by Naheed Asharaf and Tasawar Javed “The Impact of Social Networking on Employees’ Performance” finds that social media has a negative impact on employee skills, motivation levels, knowledge and qualifications, and productivity. I did not know much about how governments around the world help visually impaired individuals in society to determine which bill or coin they have in hand. Our bills are all the same size, shape, and weight, regardless of value. As a result, it is not possible for blind people to differentiate between the values of each dollar independently by touch alone. After a lot of research online, I have found that even though there are many ways for blind people to manage their money such as folding techniques and specialized apps, the basic problem remains: U.S. currency is indistinguishable by physical methods of touch and sensation.  Therefore, I think that the United States is discriminatory against blind people in regards to currency. There are many problems in society.  People tend to look at these problems, levels, and structures of society at face value. Maybe people go school to become productive successful members of society. In addition maybe people go school to be with friends . I think education is the force that allows people to share their experiences and beliefs and become involved in the community to advocate for any individual who needs help .    I was born with Cerebral Palsy a physical disability not a mental disability. Cerebral Palsy has led to all of my other obstacles in life such as speech trouble, flexible muscle ton e,  and  fine motor problems, especially with typing and graphing problems in math.
