Hope

There are things about us that only we know and Allah knows. Things we don't share with anyone and we shouldn't. On top of that list is Sins. So many muslims have been raised consistently reminded of how Just Allah is in His justice, or how strictly He will punish people for their sins... Leaving people to hyper focus on their mistakes/sins. Leaving people feeling ashamed to stand in front of their Creator... Leading people to dispair from the Mercy of Ar Rehman and Al Ghaffar... Unfortunately we live in a world that only remembers our flaws, and we tend to believe that's our Lord too... World doesn't forgive easily and we mistake that to be the case with our Lord as well... Wherein in reality, He invites us to return to Him. He reminds us of how it's not about the mistakes we make, it's about how quickly and how well we turn back to Him. When unchecked and unmanaged feelings of despair, guilt and hopelessness come in the way of servant and His Lord. These feel...

“Finding Peace in Gratitude

“Finding Peace in Gratitude” Hi everyone! 💕 I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your love, support, and kindness. The past few years, especially during the corona virus pandemic, have been challenging, but they have also helped me appreciate the beauty of life. Alhamdulillah, I feel blessed with an amazing family, strong faith, and a heart full of love for Allah. For a long time, I struggled with negative thoughts, focusing on what I lacked—a job, a partner, or my master’s degree. Recently, I've come to realize how much that mindset drained my spirit. I have already accomplished so much, and I am grateful for it. Alhamdulillah, I graduated from Nassau with an associate degree in Liberal Arts and Human Services, and later earned my bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology. I'm not sharing this to boast, but as a reminder to myself that I have been guided, loved, and blessed every step of the way. Life is short, and this world is temporary. What truly matters are our good...

Down syndrome

**"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are all connected in a beautiful tapestry of life; when one of us is affected, we all feel it."**   — Martin Luther King Jr. **Surprise! About 16-18% of individuals with Down syndrome may also have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). However, it’s important to keep in mind the following: - Just like individuals with autism, people with Down syndrome have their own unique skills and reach milestones at different times. - ...
