True happiness my new novel
Title: True Happiness: The Jewel of Destiny
Author's Note
What do you wish for in life? To be content with who you are, you must love Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and yourself. It's vital to remain humble, remembering that no one is perfect or without flaws. Allah has blessed each of us with unique talents, alongside inevitable imperfections. Embracing both our strengths and weaknesses helps us grow into the individuals we are meant to be. If you sacrifice your happiness to conform to societal expectations, true contentment will always elude you.
اللهم اجعلنا من الذين يُحبونك ويُحبّهم، ووفقنا لما تُحب وترضى، واغمر قلوبنا بنور الإيمان، واملأ حياتنا سكينة وسعادة يا أرحم الراحمين.
“O Allah, make us among those whom You love and who love You. Guide us to what you love and are pleased with. Fill our hearts with the light of faith, and our lives with peace and happiness, O Most Merciful of the merciful.”
اللهم اجعل الحبّ في قلوبنا نورًا، والإيمان زادًا، والصبرَ رفيقًا، واليقينَ دربًا، والجنّةَ مآلًا.
“O Allah, make love a light in our hearts, faith our provision, patience our companion, certainty our path, and Paradise our final destination.”
ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذريّاتنا قرة أعين، واجعلنا للمتقين إمامًا.
“Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes, and make us leaders for the righteous.” (Surah Al-Furqan, 25:74)
I feel deeply blessed to have my deen, family, and friends, yet I’m still discovering my path. I’m grateful for my life, my education, and my blog, and I strive to be a good person. As Muslims, our purpose is to worship Allah, do righteous deeds, and treat others with kindness. While I fully embrace this, I’m also searching for a career that aligns with my faith and leads me closer to Jannah. I love being a Muslim above all else—Alhamdulillah, I’ve come so far. I pray to have children one day, inshaAllah, and I’m learning to trust in Allah’s plan for me, even as I worry about the future. Alhamdulillah, I’m religious, capable, independent, caring, and compassionate. My goal is to continue growing as a person, trusting that Allah will guide me on this journey. I am trying to be the best person I can be.
I often reflect on what it means to live a meaningful life, to love Allah fully, and to find happiness. Humans are unique in their ability to reason, distinguish truth from falsehood, and choose between right and wrong. Life is a series of choices, and through overcoming challenges, we can achieve our goals and dreams while staying true to our purpose: worshiping Allah and seeking His favor. Ultimately, life is a test, and the answers lie in our deeds and intentions.
Happiness doesn't have to be connected to something or someone. You can be happy with who you are and never compare yourself to others. For example, some people are only happy if they succeed in their careers and have a legacy behind them. For me, my religion and spirituality are very important. Islam is a tool to overcome fear, loneliness, and laziness. By defeating negative emotions and allowing a positive attitude to be the driving force that determines how I live, I then can live my life to the fullest so that I can focus on what’s important.
However, some people are only happy with money, fame, and traveling the world. I would love to travel the world, and I love the idea of meeting my soulmate, falling in love, and finding someone who understands me. But in today's society, where it can be a struggle to commit to relationships, it seems that modern society is riddled with divorce. Miscommunication, work-life balance, and lack of effort are some of the biggest causes.
However, it is possible to form deep connections and build trust and mutual respect. These bonds can lead to many important relationships, such as friendship, family, coworkers, and social capital. These bonds can even promote career advancement when someone advocates for what they believe in. These bonds do not need to be formed using social media. Individuals can create happiness by stepping out of their comfort zone and trying to reach their full potential. Falling in love is beautiful and personal, but you don't need to be happy. The love you receive from your friends and family might be all you need. Anyone can be independent, caring, and loving. Only you can decide how meaningful your relationships are and how far you can go in life.
People desire to fight for things that are important to them, stand up for what they believe in, and make a difference in the world. Finding meaning in their lives, leaving legacies behind, and motivating people who are young and old to come together. These are some of the ways you can bring the most positive change in the world. Many driving factors might motivate a person. Everyone has their own talents and desire to stand up for their beliefs, and finding a meaningful purpose is essential to motivate individuals toward their goals.
The truth is nobody knows the answer to what people desire the most out of life, because the human heart is too irresistible to control. A mystery that has eluded humanity since the dawn of time is; Is it possible for people to desire too much out of life? The most crucial aspect to remember is how people use their hearts' desires to impact the world. Everyone has a unique personality with different interests, along with their own dreams and goals to achieve in life. A person who looks deep into their soul and fine-tunes their talents while staying true to themselves has the potential to make a difference and change the world. Can you imagine a perfect world where all your heart's desires can come true? This is why people fantasize. Fantasies make the world seem a better place to live because the subconscious mind has no limitations. This leads people to dream of their desires and to make them into reality. Most people dream of a perfect world!
This is impossible. You would think a person would the have to die and go to heaven to find out what happens after death? Well, you are wrong because all you have to do is dive into the perfect world of Ethiopia to find what your heart desires the instant you wish for it.
Chapter 1: The Whisper of the Wind
I always thought happiness was something you found in fairy tales. But throughout my life, I learned, there is a way of whispering truths when you least expect it. My name is Crystal, and this is the story of how I discovered who I truly am.
It began on a quiet autumn evening. The wind had a strange chill, as if it carried secrets. I sat on the rooftop of the orphanage where I had lived for most of my life, staring at the stars. They always gave me comfort, like tiny reminders that something greater was out there. I often asked the sky questions. Who am I really? Why do I feel so different? And why does my heart ache like it's waiting for someone I haven't met yet?
That's when Jake showed up, as he always did.
"Crystal, you're going to catch a cold," he said, handing me a warm scarf. Jake had been my best friend since we were children. Kind, brave, and frustratingly mysterious. There was always something he wasn’t telling me, but I never pushed him. Until that night.
"Jake... do you ever wonder why we ended up here? Why did we never know our real parents?"
He paused, his eyes softening. "All tJakeime. But maybe the answers aren’t as far as we think."
It was an odd reply, and I stared at him, trying to read between the lines. His gaze lingered on mine longer than usual.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Nothing," he said, looking away. "Just... if anything ever happens, promise me you’ll stay true to who you are. No matter what."
"I promise," I whispered, not knowing that night would change everything.
A shadow crept across the rooftops. I felt it before I saw it—a dark presence, cold and heavy. Suddenly, a blast of wind knocked me backwards. Jake grabbed my hand and pulled me to safety.
"Get down!" he shouted, shielding me with his body.
Figures emerged from the darkness, cloaked in black, their eyes glowing red. I froze. Who were they? Why were they after me?
Jake stood between me and the threat. And then, with a motion that defied all logic, he summoned a glowing sword from thin air. My jaw dropped.
"Jake? What are you?"
He didn’t answer. He just fought. Every strike was fierce, graceful, and purposeful. He knew them. He knew this.
When the attackers vanished into the night, Jake turned to me, breathless. "There are things you need to know. But not here. Not yet. Just trust me."
And for reasons I couldn't explain, I did.
That night, I couldn't sleep. My dreams were filled with strange visions—a throne made of crystal, a voice calling my name, and a symbol glowing on my hand. The Jewel of Destiny.
Something inside me had awakened. And it was only the beginning.
Chapter 2
The Transition of Fate from Ordinary Life to My Destiny
I will start from the beginning of my story—the day my life changed forever. I was happy until my dad died and I realized he was king. I was a princess of the Crystal Kingdom. Did you ever feel like you did not fit in your own family? As if the life you live is not supposed to be the way it is? Or that your parents are not really who they say they are?
Everything changed when my father passed away. The world is always selfish, but I have become so strong—I will change the world. I discovered that love is powerful. People you thought you knew can be selfish. Some friends are true. Others drift away. Normally, society would say that people lose touch every day. But what if the person you love most in the world—your mother, the one who raised you—was not actually your mother, but a loyal guard hired by your biological mother Fatima Amelia Elgohary, queen of the Crystal Kingdom?
I think people have a desire to fight for an important cause, to stand up for what they believe is right, and to make a difference in the world. It’s how they find meaning, how they inspire others, how they leave a legacy. Maybe people just want to feel like they belong. That’s why having friends and being accepted is so essential.
A meaningful purpose is vital. People can use Islam as guidance to overcome fear, loneliness, and laziness, defeating negative emotions and letting positivity lead them toward their highest potential. We all want to be accepted for who we are. And we admire those who fight for justice and truth.
But what do people desire the most out of life? Can we desire too much? The truth is, no one knows. Desires are powerful and sometimes uncontrollable. Still, what matters most is how we use our desires to impact the world. Everyone is unique, with their own dreams and goals.
This mystery has eluded humanity since the dawn of time. That’s why people fantasize. Fantasies allow us to explore a world without limitations. Most people dream of a perfect world. Do you imagine a world where all your heart’s desires come true?
You’d think it’s impossible—that only in heaven would we experience that. But you’re wrong. You just have to enter the perfect world of Ethiopia, where your heart’s desires appear as you wish. That’s where this story begins. Enter the magical love story of Crystal, an ordinary girl who becomes immortal, and Jake, a soul reaper hunter who was always her true love. But a spell leads her to fall for an evil sorceress named Danny, the creator of the soul reaper race.
Chapter 3
The world was safe and peaceful, pure and untouched by war, racism, disease, hunger, and evil. The sky was a bright, endless blue. The sun rose with hope. I lived in a small quiet house on the Far West Coast of California, in Hollywood, right by the beach. Despite the glitz of Hollywood, my life was ordinary. I had family and friends, went to acting school, and dreamed about love.
The only person I’ve ever truly loved is my best friend, Jake, whom I’ve known since I was eleven. I was always too scared to tell him the truth. Then he left for the army when we learned of the soul reaper invasion. My life changed forever.
I remember the day vividly. I was six years old, playing with my toys when it happened. I felt a chill, shivered, and moved to close the window. That’s when I saw a dark, ominous cloud descending over the town. A fog swept in, and everything froze. An evil presence stared into my soul.
I felt helpless, like a girl in a horror movie waiting to be rescued. But even then, something in me stirred—the fighting spirit, the will to live. A fire deep within ignited. Children’s innocence holds more power than people realize.
The soul reaper appeared.
"Hey, you! My name is Crystal. What do you want from me? Who are you? Leave my family alone!"
He replied, "I want to corrupt the pure light of your soul—to turn you into my slave. I am Shadow, the soul reaper. Are you coming with me willingly, or will I have to take you by force?"
I stood firm. "I choose to stay here! I will never let you take my soul. As long as there is breath in my body, I won’t let you hurt my family and friends!"
As he lunged, I screamed, shielding myself. Light erupted from my hands, overflowing through my body. Suddenly, I formed an arrow of light and shot it at him, piercing his soul. His last word was: "Impossible... defeated by an ord..."
Can you imagine a perfect world where all your heart’s desires come true? This is why people fantasize. Fantasies allow us to dream without limits.
Chapter 4: My Love for Jake, My Father's Secret, and Cynthia
After Shadow vanishesssssssd, I collapsed to the floor, my heart pounding like a battle drum. My breath caught in my throat, and my hands trembled, still glowing faintly. My powers had awakened, but I didn't understand them. Not yet.
Jake came rushing in, eyes wild with fear. "Crystal! Are you okay? I felt something—something dark. I thought I lost you."
I looked at him and suddenly felt it all—every emotion I had buried for years. The truth: I loved him. And I couldn’t hide it anymore.
"Jake," I whispered, my voice shaking. "You were always there. Even when I didn’t know who I was... you believed in me. I think I’ve loved you all along."
He cupped my cheek, his eyes soft. "I’ve always loved you, Crystal. But there’s something I have to confess. I knew... I knew your father was still alive."
I froze. "You knew? Jake—why didn’t you tell me? Why would you keep that from me?"
He looked down, ashamed. "Because he made me swear to protect you. Before he vanished, he told me that you had to find your own path. If you knew too early, the soul reapers would use that truth to destroy you. I was trying to protect you. And that’s why I left—to train, to become stronger, to fight them if they ever came for you."
His voice cracked. "I hated leaving you. Every day. But I needed to become a soul reaper hunter, Crystal. For you. For your destiny. For our future."
But something else haunted me—Jake’s past with Cynthia. A warrior from the Emerald Guard, Cynthia had trained with Jake for years. Rumors whispered of a romance, a bond forged in battle.
"And Cynthia?" I asked, my voice small. "Was she the reason you stayed away so long?"
Jake’s eyes darkened. "Cynthia was my partner in war. We shared a battlefield, not a future. There was admiration, yes, even moments of closeness. But it was never love—not the way I love you. When I looked into Cynthia’s eyes, I saw duty. When I look into yours, I see home."
The truth came crashing down like a storm. In the ruins of the old library, I found a letter hidden behind a portrait of my father.
It read:
"To my dearest daughter,
If you are reading this, then fate has already revealed who you truly are. You are my heir, the light of the Crystal Kingdom. There are secrets I could not tell you while I lived—truths about your mother, about your destiny. I was never meant to be king. Your mother, Fatima, entrusted me with protecting you until the time came for you to return. Now that time has come.
Never forget who you are.
—Your Father, Idris."
Tears streamed down my face. He had known everything. And he had given up his life to keep me safe. The man I thought was a simple, ordinary father was a protector, a guardian of secrets that would shape the fate of kingdoms.
Jake held me as I cried. "We’ll uncover the truth together. I promise you. Whatever happens, I’m not leaving your side."
And from that moment, our hearts were bound—not just by love, but by destiny.
Chapter 7: The Secret Within Jake’s Love
Jake and I stood on the cliffs overlooking the ocean, the wind swirling around us like fate itself. I had felt the distance growing between us even after all the truths that were revealed. Something still lingered in his eyes—something he hadn’t told me.
"Jake," I said softly, "if you love me... then why does your heart feel far away? What are you hiding?"
He turned to me, conflicted. "I’ve tried to forget it. But I can’t lie to you anymore. There was a moment, a time in my training, when I thought maybe Cynthia was my future. We were close. We fought beside each other, protected one another. In war, everything gets blurry."
I looked away, tears stinging my eyes. "Did you ever love her?"
"Not the way I love you," he said immediately. "What I had with Cynthia was built on fear and survival. What I have with you is built on faith, truth, and something eternal."
He stepped closer. "The truth is, I fell in love with you long before the soul reapers came. I fell in love with your kindness, your bravery, your laugh. You challenged me, believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. You were always the light in my life, even before you knew who you were. Loving you meant choosing a future that wasn't easy. But now I know—it's the only future worth fighting for."
In that moment, all my doubts washed away. His love wasn’t perfect—but it was real.
And in his arms, I saw not just a warrior—but the man who would stand beside me, no matter the cost.
Chapter 8: Jake’s Confession
The aftermath of the battle still lingered in the air. Crystal’s heart raced as she watched Jake carefully tend to his wounds, his usual confident smile softened by vulnerability. The war wasn’t just fought with swords but with feelings they’d both buried for too long.
“Crystal,” Jake said quietly, his voice thick with emotion, “there’s something I’ve needed to tell you for a long time… I love you. Not just as my best friend, but something deeper. I always have.”
Her breath caught. The weight of his words settled between them, a promise, a risk, a hope. Crystal realized her feelings mirrored his, the walls around her heart beginning to crumble.
Chapter 9: The Truth About My Father
Haunted by the mystery of her father’s death, Crystal finally uncovered a secret kept from her: her father was not dead but hidden away to protect the kingdom. The truth shattered her world, but also ignited a fierce determination to reclaim her birthright.
With the revelation, Crystal understood why she was chosen—the Jewel of Destiny wasn’t just a symbol but a key to awakening her father and saving the Crystal Kingdom.
Chapter 10: Meeting My Mother and Sister
Crystal traveled to a distant, hidden sanctuary where she met Fatima, her real mother. Fatima’s embrace was both comforting and strange, filled with unspoken regrets and hope. Alongside her stood a young woman, Crystal’s half-sister, whose eyes mirrored her own.
Family tensions rose as they struggled to connect after years apart, but together they began to heal old wounds, forming bonds that would strengthen Crystal for the trials ahead.
Chapter 11: New Threat Emerges
Just as Crystal’s world seemed to align, a shadow darker than any before emerged—a powerful new villain, determined to seize the Jewel of Destiny for their own dark purposes. Whispers of an ancient evil called Nes Vallan sent shivers through the kingdom.
Crystal and Jake, now united not only by love but by destiny, prepared for the b
