  Alhamdulillah I have a house but I want to talk about a serious issue of homeless and affordable housing.Affordable pandemic worsened many of the economic and social conditions associated with homelessness. According to *Homelessness in America: Overview of Data and Causes*, major causes of homelessness among unaccompanied individuals include a lack of affordable housing, unemployment, poverty, mental illness and the lack of needed services, and substance abuse and the lack of needed services. These causes demonstrate that homelessness cannot be understood as the result of one individual problem. Instead, homelessness is a complex social issue influenced by economic conditions, social institutions, public policies, employment opportunities, housing availability, and individual circumstances. Malcolm X once said, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” (Bailey). Education is the foundation for personal and societal growth, equipping individuals to think critically, solve problems, and navigate the world. Yet, despite its transformative power, access to quality education remains unequal—especially for students with disabilities. Every child deserves an education that nurtures their potential, but systemic barriers continue to limit opportunities for disabled students.
