The Syria humanitarian Criss

Islamophobia Adds to he Syrian Refugee Crisis  Racism has been reflected in discriminatory laws, practices, and actions (including violence) against racial or ethnic groups throughout the history of the United States. Since the early colonial era, White Americans have generally enjoyed legally or socially-sanctioned privileges and rights that have been denied to members of various ethnic or minority groups. European Americans have enjoyed advantages in matters of citizenship, criminal procedure, education, immigration, land acquisition, and voting rights. Before 1865, most African Americans were enslaved; since the abolition of slavery, they have faced severe restrictions on their political, social, and economic freedoms. Native Americans have suffered genocide, forced removals, and massacres, and they continue to face discrimination. European Americans, Hispanics, Middle Eastern, and Asian Americans, along with Pacific Islanders, have also been the victims of discrimination...

Free Palestine

your passion intact while improving clarity, structure, and impact: --- # **Stop the Genocide in Palestine** The world must wake up to the genocide happening in Palestine. Israel is not the victim in this conflict—the Palestinian people are suffering daily under occupation, oppression, and relentless attacks. Yet, the media distorts the truth, painting Palestinians as terrorists while portraying Israel as the oppressed. This pattern reflects a larger issue: the media's reluctance to show the suffering of non-white populations and its role in reinforcing racist stereotypes. The media rarely gives full coverage to the struggles of marginalized communities—whether Native Americans, Chinese, Italian immigrants, African Americans, people with disabilities, or women, especially Muslim women. Stories of oppression and resistance from these groups are often ignored, manipulated, or framed in ways that dehumanize them. This systemic bias allows injustices, like the current massacre in Pale...

Stop educational inequity my passion

Malcolm X once said, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” (Bailey). Education is the foundation for personal and societal growth, equipping individuals with the ability to think critically, solve problems, and navigate the world. Yet, despite its transformative power, access to quality education remains unequal—especially for students with disabilities. Every child deserves an education that nurtures their potential, but systemic barriers continue to limit opportunities for disabled students. To create a truly equitable society, we must ensure that all students, regardless of ability, receive the necessary accommodations, resources, and support to thrive and become successful members of society.   From infancy, children rely on parents, caregivers, and educators to develop essential life skills. Learning through play fosters cognitive, social, and motor development (Gavin, 2022). As they grow, schools become their p...

We need to stop educational inequality for people with disabilities

Malcolm X once said, "Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today." (Bailey) A good educational experience gives people the absolute freedom to think, learn, grow, and travel the world. Therefore, knowledge is the most powerful weapon because it gives individuals the tools to understand the world, solve problems, empower themselves, overcome challenges, and experience personal growth. Everyone deserves a good, equal education to be a strong, successful, productive individual in society. Individuals with disabilities must be educated and exposed to an equal educational experience as their fellow students. Every child deserves to learn. Unfortunately, this is not the reality of our education system; students with disabilities do not have the same opportunities in schools as others.  When babies come into the world, they need to be taught everything by their parents, such as how to play, which is the primary way that infants l...
